They say ignorance is bliss but, in construction, the ignorance that keeps the low-bid mentality in play is a travesty that is hampering the advancement of the industry and the contributions it makes to society.  Barbara Jackson warns owners, “The riskiest position that any owner can find themselves in on their construction project is when working with a contractor who is losing money.”
